taking a quick breath

well today was a very adventurous day
and tonight was an incredible night

School was school lol btw I have a math test tomorrow . . . YAY
Hung out with mrs. Amazing today (shhhhh don't tell her I called her amazing or she will say "eh")
and then went to church.

Can I just say that when we do things by the book
they work out.
I mean the Bible is God breathed scripture.
It's how we know who He is.
Today for the first time in a long time during our leadership meeting
we all prayed. With the goal of God preparing hearts and working on hearts.
All three of us.

I'm reminded about Matthew 18:19 Again, I assure you: If two of you on earth agree about any matter that you pray for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven.


We asked God to prepare hearts and to work on them
not just the students, but our own also
I know He prepared me to receive His word 
during worship a concept came to me
while singing praises to Him it hit me . . . 


I need to sing praises to God
He doesn't need me to sing praises to Him
the songs we sing remind us of who He is


He knows that He is God alone
from before time began
He knows that He is the everlasting God
He knows that He brings salvation


He allows us to sing songs about Him
that remind us of who He is 
that encourage us in hard times
and remind us of why the good times are good times
