Dogs and Crums

I'm kinda just chillin right now about to head into a math class, but I've decided to get a blog up before I go. I was reading matthew chapter 15 today and something really stood out to me. There was a Canaanite  lady with a demon possessed child, and she asked Jesus to heal her child, yet He seemed to ignore her request at first. What did she do? Did she quit? No she didn't. She kept asking. He ever referred to her as a dog. I don't think Jesus was doing this to be offensive, but that He was looking for true persistent faith.

check it out

26 He answered, “It isn’t right to take the children’s bread and throw it to their dogs.”
27 “Yes, Lord,” she said, “yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table!”
28 Then Jesus replied to her, “Woman, your faith is great. Let it be done for you as you want.” And from that moment her daughter was cured.

Your faith is great. Let it be done for you as you want.
Faith!

Well heading to class now =)
Pray for me
oh and um Pray for yourselves too
